/01The Brief

What if an entire luxury campaign could be built in 48 hours?

Self-initiated. Design a Valentine’s capsule that could live inside Gentle Monster’s world without borrowing from it, then take it all the way to campaign, not mood board.

Four original eyewear concepts. Product design, creative direction, casting, lighting, environments, styling and final imagery. Every element conceived and produced by AndMelo, with no traditional production team, no studio hire and no shoot day.

The point was never the frames alone. It was to see whether taste and judgement could survive a schedule this compressed, and whether the result would still read as luxury.

/02The Challenge

Replace a three-month campaign workflow with a system that runs in two days.

A conventional luxury capsule moves through product development, sampling, casting, location scouting, a shoot day and post, each step waiting on the one before it. Heartwear collapses that chain into a single integrated workflow: research, visual DNA extraction, product design, casting direction, lighting, styling, environments and final imagery, all held by one creative director.

/03The Solution

Romance told through engineering, not cliché.

The campaign adopted a sculptural, gallery-inspired visual language: chrome architecture, controlled lighting, editorial styling and product-first composition. No hearts-and-roses shorthand: the emotion is carried by material, weight and precision.

One cast, one world, four stories. Each frame was given its own narrative, palette and environment, then shot as if it belonged to a house with sixty years of archive behind it.

/04The Collection

Four frames. Four worlds.

Each concept carries its own narrative, material language and editorial environment: designed to be shot, merchandised and released as a capsule.

01

Digital Romance

Love rendered at low resolution. Pixel-set florals in lilac and mint climb the temple like a bracelet: a Y2K message board rebuilt as jewellery, worn with severe black tailoring to keep it adult.

02

Cupid’s Arrow

A single polished shield, drawn through. The arrow runs the length of the temple and exits at the tip: one continuous line, no ornament. The most severe frame in the capsule, and the fastest to read.

03

Liquid Heart

Molten chrome poured into the temple and left to set as a heart, finished with a ruby at the hinge and a star at the tip. The rose-gradient lens is the only softness allowed anywhere in the frame.

04

Rose Thorn Veil

Petal-cut lenses veined like a leaf, hung on a chromed thorn stem. The set piece of the capsule: a rose scaled to architecture, with the frame photographed as an object found on it rather than styled beside it.

/05The Outcome

A full campaign, delivered in the time a shoot takes to book.

Four products, four worlds, one cast and a complete editorial set, finished inside two days. The workflow doesn’t replace traditional production; it moves the decision-making forward, so a house can see the campaign before committing to it.

For a brand, that means prototyping a collection, testing a seasonal idea, or pressure-testing a concept with real imagery: days after the thought, not quarters.

The future isn’t AI replacing creative teams. It’s creative directors orchestrating new creative systems.
